Must share good news. My daughter made a 97 on her math test yesterday!!!! She had been struggling with Algebra and at semester I got the school to change her to a different teacher. The old one was awful and I am no help with math. Long story short, she went from getting 45 on her tests to this 97. I kinda think she might actually be understanding it now. Hope the trend continues!! She is a smart girl, but does need someone to TEACH her, which was just not happening. I am so proud of her!
Better fix a thermos of coffee for the trip….Thanks everyone for the good words. I hope my daughter keeps it up. She's a great kid but following in the shadowe of her brilliant brother. We are headed for an open house at the School for Math, Science and the Arts today. Just put in an application for my son to go. Don't know when we will know if he's accepted.
