Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Hi everyone!
Looovvveee the kewl hair cuts puddin'!
Been really busy with spring finally kickin' in tho it is supposed to get well below freezing again tonight. Should get any of the apple blossoms that survived Tuesday's freeze. Oh, well. On a lighter note, DH wanted to go spend a few pennies yesterday so we went to the Indian casino not far from us to spend our $20 (that's all we waste for our r&r). Anyway, I won $150 right away so I gave DH half so he could play a bit longer (he enjoys it more than I do-unless they have a new high graphic machine I can geek out on) and what does he do? He wins $1200 !!!! We play just a little bit longer then take our winnings and run!!!!
Now tomorrow I have "play money" to head for the big flea market at the county seat

Oh, and all the sales that are sure to be going on along the way.

Llamas seem to be pretty cool pets! I never knew that. Learn something new everyday :D

Wow have fun spending the money chickisoup!!! That was a great trip to the casino!

That was a beautiful Memorial Day card! Everyone have a great weekend :) I'm going to keep at my hen house all weekend with the hubby haha maybe Tuesday I'll be able to share some progress pics :) (unless it turns into a disaster!) but so far it's looking good!

I did get a big laugh out of those llama haircuts!

My daughter said she found it "disturbing". She makes me smile when I look at her. She was a bit intimidating, now she's just funny.

I am sure they will cush on some bedding and thats all they will need
Yeah they are fine. My hubby keeps teasing me that she's out there shivering.

I am glad that I am not the only one (wanting to lock up the teens)

So far so good with mine but my hubby thinks my son is going to hang out with deviants and ruin his future and that my daughter will never go to college or get a "real" job. He's a glass half empty kinda guy.

Love to see pics. We are expecting rain all weekend so we will be doing inside things. That's why I am so happy to be done with the llamas cuts.

Wow! Looking at the Before and After on the llama pics somehow is reminiscent of wet cats. Our neighbors have alpacas and they've shorn all but the heads so the poor things are kinda like showgirl chickens.

Our landscaper ordered up some topsoil to fill a railroad tie bed and it arrived.... 100% sand. I guess that's what topsoil is in New Mexico. Anyway, the yard here has plenty of sand on its own and so definitely do not need to add more, but what to do with the pile in the driveway? Hooray for my half-done chicken run! I had them haul it into there, which kills two birds with one stone because now I don't have to go buy/load/haul/place sand therein....although I will have to haul amendments for the beds. The sand is superfine, though. In a good windstorm it'll blow into the house and settle on the sills.

The RSL's lay consistently a Medium egg, but yesterday one churned out a 2.62 oz one (Jumbo). Bet it's a double-yolker.

1/2" of rain yesterday evening, so everything is dewy this morning. Sun for the next couple of days, so hope to get the coop run done.... The end is in sight!

Casino winnings + flea market = SPREE!!!! Have fun!
