Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

saltandpepper2, It all counts, unless you would drink the stuff without the coffee in it. That's how I look at it. Without the coffee, it's a no go for me. Or, if you were on a dessert island and all you had available was coffee, black, would you drink it? Heck yeah! I declare you a true coffee drinker!

Has anyone had Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee? Now, that's some coffee. It's smooth as silk and I would drink it everyday, if it wouldn't interfere with my chicken budget!

brought a five pound bag home from Jamaica once.... LONNNNG gone... but it was awesome. Gawd that was thirty years ago when a pound was like fifteen dollars in the states.

welcome deerfield if I forgot to say it forgive me If I am sayin it again double that shot.....

Quote: Yes, my Brinsea is an octagon.. the 40 model.. I busted the first turner, they replaced it for free, I busted the second and said "ah, whatever" (also the warranty was over) it is super easy to turn, since you just roll it... I think the turner that comes with it can't handle the weight when I cram the thing full or eggs.

I have have 6 teens and 1 preteen at home and no way can I afford that coffee anymore. Mine is looonngg gone too!

No matter. I just throw a little sumpin, sumpin in it, from K-cups, stovetop percolated and even instant, and it's fine.

I am on my third turner too. It seems like I break one each year but I hope I can keep this one going with the silicone oil. It looks like the pivots need some lubrication.

I am so very grateful to my Lord for all in my family that served with pride thru three generations and all came marching home.
I also pause to remember all the men and women who gave some and the some who gave all for my freedom. Thank you all for your service and sacrifice.

@Alaskan - yes, we have been "invaded" as well. Our tourists are not quite as entertaining so we spent the holiday weekend in hiding

My heart does not do well either when I must end the suffering of small creatures.

I liked reading all of the memorial day comments... the fallen friends, and the triumphant family...

I do think that fighting for our freedom is very important, and I am VERY grateful for those that serve and keep me and my family safe.

But the last war that any of my direct ancestors fought in was the war of northern aggression
