Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Howdy Howdy! Boy I leave to tend to my henhouse for a week and all kinds of craziness happens!! Glad the weather is doing better for some of you and your feathered friends. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Noodle. She sounds like she was a wonderful pet. I am already attached to a few of my chickens and sadly already lost my first. I know that there will be more down the road but man... IT SUCKS!!! Unfortunately for us, we didn't even get the few short years you had with Noodle which i was at least hoping for... my 2yo DS played with the chickies while i was out building and by the time I heard he had one and ran inside... my first ever, hatched chick was a goner :( Poor DS didn't even understand what he did but he knew i wasn't happy. DH tried explaining it to him but besides being afraid of me, i think all he took from it was to not touch the chickies again :( Ugh... a loss is a loss in my book and no matter how big or small, it hurts the heart all the same. I hope you find peace and your heart heals soon.

Anywho I just wanted to say HI to everyone since it seems like forever since I've been on here. Making great progress with the henhouse though. Got the chickens already in it too! Its not completed just yet though so it may be awhile again before I join the convo. Hope everyone has a good week.

PS~ Glad ALL your chickens were safe the other night and the coyote didn't get an easy meal! I can't imagine how scary that would be!

I shared this on the Texas sight too. My sister sent this too me. She knows I love my chickens.
