I thought i would a list of the affected states so if anyone is having a bird illness question the first thing they should check is the state they live in. This is a list from Word Press.

Infected Commercial Flocks. Commercial flocks have been infected in at least 15 States: Arkansas, California, Idaho, Indiana (May 10, 2015), Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska (May 11, 2015), North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wisconsin

Symptoms

* Lack of energy and appetite
• Decreased egg production and/or soft-shelled or
misshapen eggs
• Swelling of the head, eyelids, comb, wattles, and hocks
• Purple discoloration of the wattles, combs, and legs
• Runny nose, coughing, sneezing
• Stumbling or falling down
• Diarrhea
• Sudden death without any clinical signs

In California, we have a free necropsy service for back yard flocks. One person here submitted one from a flock with similar symptoms. It was MG though.

This one was Rah but Granddaughter wants her name to be NITTY. since DGD ALWAYS gets what she wants I agreed and since she was the smallest of the 12 I ordered I figure *ITS ALL RIGHT TO BE LITTLE NITTY* .

Her name was Snoodle. I lost her last summer. She's been my favorite chicken so far. She was a BCF I got at TSC when DH first got me chickens. He went in and asked for 12 RIR pullets, and they sold him the last 11 chicks they had (5 RSL, 5 WL, and 1 "specialty breed") and they all turned out to be pullets. I still have three of the RSL.
Nitty is a cute name. =)

I didnt like the name Nitty at first, But then I added Little to it and all I do all day is try to re-wright the song Little Bitty.

just the *Crazy Lady* at work. I sing silly turned around songs with my Grand daughter and she loves the animal ones. *Crazy Lady* is what she calls me to distinguish which Grandma she is talking about.
Her other Grandma has a Great Dane so she is *Big Puppy*. SOOO I guess that means I got some Crazy.? I can live with that

I on the other hand like mine So strong it is almost thick

, hot and black.

In a cup, mug or straight from the pot

no matter as long as it is coffee flavored coffee.
