My dad always said hot coffee in the summer helped to adjust your body to the warmer weather. He drank ice water in the winter for the same reason

See I also believe that all but the ice water! I drink aprox 1 gal water a day but room temp. I really dont like to be cold at all! Hubbie loves the AC unit and I am not a fan. oh but on a warm Texas day I might like a fan over the AC.

I ve had 4 cups of coffee and just got done with my first beer of the day,love them both. my our coffee drinkers not mind.

I too... Dislike AC... I love a good fan though.

I do that as well. I actually prefer room temperature water at all times though.
