Eek! Monkeys strike me like clowns strike some people! Nope, nope, nope. I'll hold out for a chicken any day.
Not too keen on the coffee civet, either, but at least it's not a monkey.

birds in general should not breathe tea trea oil fumes.I have a question and I'm sure that someone on here either knows or knows where to find the answer!
What about chickens and tea tree oil (melaluca essential oil)?
I have a wooden brooder (about 1' x 2' x 4' inside), and it needs to be cleaned; I also have a bottle of tea tree oil water (about 6-8 drops of oil to about 16 oz water) made up. I know the tea tree oil will keep the brooder fresher and keep stuff from growing in the wood, etc. But IDK whether it's something that is safe to be used around chick(en)s, especially chicks b/c that's especially what I put in the brooder.

I would not use it.
No idea on the tea tree oil.
As to Jesuits!Yes, they are known as being the black priests... And lots of other things besides
However, I am Orthodox, and all of our priests and nuns were all black. The Orthodox do not have orders like the Papists, but we do have different kinds of monastics. So, there are communal living monastics, solitary monastics, as well as monastics that are in the world and do whatever (teach at a school, help run an old folks home, etc.)![]()
Only problem with aeromatics... such as Tea Tree or Cedar.... the little uns absorb too much....
If you were to use it between broods then let it air out in the sun it probably would be Ok... I mean AIR out till you cant smell the oil any more. But you can also do the same with a spray of white vinegar... which has no oil but incredible antiseptic properties all on its own.
If it were me.... I would get it very very clean and bleached with a good antiseptic and very very dry.... Then I would spar varnish the whole interior.... with two maybe three coats. The exterior as well. Using a water based varnish.... If there are any gaps in the wood that varnish will soak in and fill em.... then the second coat will find all the gaps that were left.... then the third coat would smooth everything out. Then Varnish the outside to keep moisture from wicking in from the outside to protect the finish on the inside. Every coat takes a day or two to cure.... so... its a project you have to want to do.
Now the whole thing is very cleanable and disinfect-able.... Probably could be used as a Sink if you wanted....![]()
