Sitting with a cup of coffee. (coffee lovers)

Humm... I don't think I eat any plastic...

As for fat... I eat lots of butter and olive oil.

Plastic compounds in food. Canned tomatoes, microwave popcorn even drinking from plastic cups. You can absorb plastic from some cash register receipts. It is a major hormone disrupter.

You can eat it in food, absorb in from the skin and even breath it in from taking a shower using a vinyl shower curtain.

My dad has better numbers than I do... And he is fatter

But he also eats more fat... Goose fat and cow fat, and pig fat... He really loads up on animal fats.
Good fats will increase HDL and LDL will also go up some too. Total cholesterol will increase but the ratio will be better.

Can you get some coconut oil? My Sister was told to add a tablespoon to her diet a day because she was not eating enough good fat.

If you have Insurance, make an appointment with a Nutritionist to analyze your diet.

Eeeeew!

OK... No plastic in my shower... Tile and glass door, whew!

I don't drink out of plastic (well, only very rarely when I am traveling in a to go cup).

I DO eat a fair amount of canned tomato products! But how do I cut those out? That is a major way I increase the fruit/veggie component of my diet!

Boxed tomatoes. It is the plastic liner on the inside of the can that has plastic in it. Acidic food will have more than other foods so tomatoes are not supposed to ever come in cans.

Sadly, I still buy them...But am trying not too....
