Did you know I got a picture of a female Cardinal at my feeder this morning:




The male flew away just before I clicked the photo..

But I got this picture of the male:




He is the bright red bird in the upper left hand quadrant. Those of you that are good at "Where's Waldo" will see him better than the rest of you.

Thanks. I have way too many bird feeders. I would be much better off if I never fed a bird, wild or domesticated.

We finally put our birdfeeders out yesterday after not picking up any bear on the field cameras for over a week.

Got the snow shoveled off the greenhouse and sunshed roofs, dug my way into the chicken run and coop, feed and watered the chooks and got the pumpkins in the oven baking for the pies I will be making this evening. Can I have my second cuppa now???
