Six day old won't leave the light

    It has sqinty eyes and is always under the light what could be wrong

    I don't know about it's eyes, but it must be cold if it's under the light all the time. What's the temperature under the light? Have you only got the one chick in there? If you have others with it, what are they doing?

    The temp under the light is 93 f their are 15 chicks in with him the room temp is 75 and all the other chicks are happy normal and wondering around

    If the other 15 chicks are moving around normally, it sounds as if the little one has some health problems. Having one sickly chick out of sixteen is not a bad average.
     
  5. You've checked the vent, I'm sure, to see if it is plugged? Yes, sometimes chicks just plain old "fail to thrive". It happens.

    It's vent is clean and he is eating good we think he may be blind seems to,bump into everything
