Yes...when they go to roost look for little bitty bugs crawling on them.

While you're checking for mites tonight, maybe you could gently take a little peek into her bad eye?

Mites usually live in the cracks of the coop and come out at night to eat on the birds.

When a bird is removed from the flock (when you were nursing her) upon the return, often the other birds will peck or bully them. This may have been the cause for her closed eye. Are you having HOT weather? If it made her ill before, she will be more sensitive to heat afterwards.
