Skin color of Welp Red broilers, black broilers, and cornish X

Hi,

I have a question regarding the skin color of Welp's red broilers, and black ones for that matter.

Does anyone have any experience with Welp's broilers? What color skin do the black and red broilers from Welp have? It says on their website that the red broilers are favored for their darker skin. What does that mean exactly? Anyone processed some of these and could enlighten me?
