I bought feather fixer today and I will keep you all updated every now and then on how my chickens are doing.

Well, Fall, winter is setting in. My hen is looking better & LAYING EGGS Each day!

She's still getting the feather fixer mixed in with Scratch, I've been sprinkling electrolyes in the water container also. We can dip below Freezing up here. I propped glass up on the windy side of an old truck door, where she beds down each night, try to keep her warm. Something is wrong with her, not having many feathers, not even Trying to fly, but as long as she seems happy, fed and warm, I'm leaving her alone. Tried some Chicken Aid spray on her & her hide-a-way. She didn't nap there for near a week! Only time she laid and egg out of her lil box was after I sprayer it....Sprinkled Sevin on her numerous times.

I've done about all I am going to do for her.. I'm thinking she is what she is and forcing things on her may be worse than whatever is keeping her from feathering out. Live and let live... May post picture later, busy settling in sorting for winter...
Keep posting what works. Never know about critters.........

My hens are definitely molting. I got feather fixer just in time! I don't want to dust them with sevin dust and putting vegetable oil on the scales on their feet because I've read that you don't want to be handling your hens at all during the time of molting simply because they have a lot of stress, their feathers are fragile, and their skin is tender. I know that feather fixer feed defends and fights against mites, so hopefully their back to normal in a couple of weeks! I have read reviews on feather fixer and people LOVE FEATHER FIXER. People are saying that in TWO WEEKS their chickens are back to normal and other people are saying that it helped them with their mite problems.
