I have 2 ,10 month old Easter Eggers chickens that won't gain weight
I feed then purina layena crumbles 24/7( I know I should do organic but I am only 14 and pay for all my other chicken supplies by myself so it's easier using the store stuff ) I also give then regular old purina scratch during the day .i treat then with a handful of meal worms the occasional table scraps and wheat bread crust every other day( have access to water 24/7 also). They seem very thin ( can feel the Brest bone very prominentally on both birds ) they are both energetic ,playful and have normal poop and still lay pretty well but just won't plump up . Any ideas . O the also seem not to like there food that much( throw it out of the pan )but not sure if that's chicken eating manners PLEASE HELP I LOVE MY GIRLS

You need to actually weigh them. If they're 4 1/2 pounds or more, I'd say they're good.

Easter eggers are bred to lay well and not eat much, so they're light bodied. Most of your production/hatchery laying hens you can easily feel the breast/keel bone and the hens themselves feel like nothing but fluff. It's how they're bred.

From your description, they're normal, healthy birds. I think you just might be overestimating what they should look or feel like.

When I had EEs, they were built and acted like they were crossed with a light-weight breed of chicken. They were skinnier than the other breeds I had, that were all heavy-weight breeds.
