Skinny Jeans

I won't even go into the cruelty that those goldfish shoes were... Seal em up and let them starve..... no way to clean the water, no way to feed the fish.... Maybe in the expensive pair...but the cheap knockoffs...pure sealed up clear plexi.

I must not be thinking of the same kind of skinny jeans. I can work in them just fine.

In the 1980's, I was 100 lbs dripping wet. I loved really tight pants also. I used to wear them so tight that I had to lay down on the bed to zip them up. So, the skinny jeans look doesn't really bother me too much. Of course, now I would never wear them. I am not over weight but my shape has changed drastically in twenty years.

Its difficult to buy jeans for my body shape. I have hips and a butt, but my waist is a lot smaller. The problem is that the jeans that fit my hips are waaa...aay to big in the waist and the ones that would fit my waist are waaa....aaay to tight in the hips and butt area. They seem to only make jeans for a couple of body types.

I think back then they were called "tapered leg". haha

I didn't read the whole thread, but I want to know how people get their feet inside those skinny jeans? I tried to put a pair on and couldn't get the heel of my foot through the tiny little leg holes. lol Maybe my feet are too big for skinny jeans.

My girlfriend had a pair of green jeans that she would wear all the time and she used to carry pliers so she could zip them up!

They're called skinny jeans because of the ankle. They don't have to be skin tight. I'm 53 and look "fabulous" in my skinny jeans. That's not my word but other peoples. By the way, my 80 year old mother also looks great in her skinny jeans. (p.s. I also have a great butt)

no skinny jeans for me and no hip huggers either! I guess I could fit into them a I am only 105lbs but who the heck wants too????

I wear only Gap classic fit boot cut, it actually zips up on my waste (not just above my pelvic bone, no plumber butt when I bend down (which is constently with ds and all the critters) and fits over any shoe/boot

The last thing I would want is skinny jeans, my feet are so big for my frame that it would just make them look bigger! Kind of like those pointy shoes, I tried on a pair when dh was alive and he asked, "so where are your flying monkeys and broom"

See its not just me that wants to see pictures, Now I am even more confused. Here I am thinking your wearing skin tight jeans with your plumbers crack showing, and cant move because of the goldfish in your shoes, and sometimes I just need a picture to know what we are talking about.

This is EXACTLY my problem! I usually have to go up a size to get the jeans to fit my ever growing butt and soccer thighs!

When I find a pair of jeans that fit me correctly, I buy a ton of them!
