No we never got any closure on that night. The blood came back as human on the biggest puddles and Nugget's on the smaller ones. One of his spurs was broken off but that was his only injury. They've a got a police report with the results of the blood test in case someone ever matches it.

Just seems like that person would have had to go to the emergency room, bleeding like that! I'm still in awe of your Attack Chicken!

I know, the investigator said the person had to have hit a large vessel or had quite a gash. Of course they could have gone to either El Paso or Las Cruces, El Paso would be closer and they don't report to NM. Whoever it was probably said they cut themselves on a fence or something, I doubt they would admit to being beat up by a roo lol!

I agree, that is one our biggest complaints out here from our own deputies. They stop a vehicle, call in a plate and only get a hit if it is stolen or has a record in NM, doesn't show from El Paso just a mile away in TX.

My big strapping rooster is hateful and mean. He's great at protecting his girls, but he's plain mean to me. Brat.
