Nugget Rocked! I still think about that big ole skunk scaring boy and his dishwashing liquid bottle.

I would love to see the pics of his son Kate...I hope Tanker does his father proud.

If you are shipping his grandchildren, I could be convinced to take a couple straight run. I do not have an incubator, so it would have to be day old chicks. I would be glad to ship some frozen sour cherries from my trees as a bonus.

Nugget was a terrific bird and you were lucky to have him.

Tanker is heavier than Nugget ever was, he can't mate he'd kill a hen and as far as I know he doesn't try to. Cobalt on the other hand has several ladies in his harem. He is tall like daddy but lighter built like his mommy. That may change, but tomorrow I'll try and get pics of Tanker and Coby and Coby's chicks from the classroom hatch. I'm going to be putting Coby and his girls in a separate pen soon so I can guarantee they are his offspring and see what they are like. I've never shipped chicks, the idea of them rattling around in a box is too much for me to handle. Maybe someone near you could hatch?

So that has to be one of the funniest things I've read in quite a while! I remember seeing Nugget on the other post trying to figure out what he was besides a dinosaur. From reading a couple recent posts, did Nugget pass on? How sad, good to know you have some of his offspring though!

Yes he passed on. He was injured in a wind storm with a gust over 100mph and a fence fell on him.
