Skunks can fit through what size hole?

I am late to the party but skunks are from the weasel family. As someone previously said for that German saying ‘where the head fits the body will follow’- that is equally true of most weasels as it is for rodents. I used to own several ferrets and anything their head would fit through they could squeeze thru. It was amazing the places they could fit and the trouble they could get into. I found myself pondering my fence spacing and 1/2 hardware cloth tonight when something smelled a little funky.
