Chani stirred himself awake and he lifted his head. His surrounding were strange and they startled him at first, but he soon remembered what had befallen them. He looked around for Morgan, who's still sleeping form lay just to the left of him.
They were on the edge of the valley, the strange horses that were there the night previous seemingly gone.
