He whinnied to the mares, ordering them to stay away. He raised his neck and flexed out his muscles, becoming larger than Chance. "Look, colt," he said sternly. "I don't care whether you're on my land or not. Being as close as you were to my mares, you took their attention and could have potentially hurt one of them. If you must fight, then take it elsewhere. I don't want to see it here."
Vega, who happened to be nursing Yuvonno at the time, perked her ears upon sighting the small foal meandering towards the fighting colts. She let out a snort at Awentia, warning her.Awentia slyly walked through the dead grass, trying oh so carefully not to make too much crunching noises. Her Mother, Nova, was talking with Olivia casually, not even realizing her daughter was slipping away. Awentia smirked to herself, and stifled a giggle. Once she was outside hearing range, she started trotting away towards where most of the other horses were. When, suddenly, she stopped as the whinny from the colt reached her ears; which now perked up in unison with her large eyes. Awentia decided to investigate, and walked towards where she heard the noise.
