Sleepy chicken?

Hi, I have one chicken who is very sleepy, like the other chickens are eating bugs from vines while she is sleeping or eating the bugs while laying down. She rarely stays standing for more than 5 minutes. And does not do anything if you try to pick her up which is rare. She also seems very lazy like eating while sleeping. Is she sick or just really sleepy?




Also...



I have another different chicken who is making little bubbles on her nose and she has saliva on her mouth whenever she does a little sound is this normal?

your chickens are sick. healthy chickens are not sleepy and lazy. mucus is sign of a respiratory infections. I would give them antibiotics straight away.

baytril, tetracycline, doxycycline are broad spectrum antibiotics. I don't know what you can find in your area. you can search forum for dosage as you probably have different medicines than we in greece. or ask and we shall figure that out.
