Sleepy Girl all the time past 2 weeks..

If so... what dosage.. and can i dropper her with just the med or do i jave to put it in tbe water she isnt drinking

Did you check in the goat/cattle section of the medications?

Yes you can give ALL of your chickens Wazine until you canget back to the store. But, I would take it back and get Safeguard. As sick as your chicken has been, she is running out of time!!!!!

I used Safeguard.  For 5 days, the correct amount per pound via mouth/syringe.  The difference in the comb color of some of the older birds was amazing, and then the egg production spike, which could have been coincidence (post molt, and some coming of age).  We purchased most of our birds in August at about 12-16 weeks, and then seven, 1-year olds in September.  During the molt, we were averaging 3-4 eggs for the 24 hens.  Now we're getting 6-7 per day, and still have some pullets in the "I could be old enough to lay, I just don't" category.  The illness is just so sad, and discouraging.  I bring a bird inside, and it feels like the kiss of death.  My Sussex is still alive, she just won't eat or drink any longer.  Same scenarios as my Welsummer and Buff.  I know sometimes this is just the way it is, but it makes me sad.
When did you worm your chickens? Did you do a second follow up worming?

No deworm.. i thought thats what the corid was...im so sad... as soo. As o get my break at work... i will head right out.. please pray she will hang on. :(

Thats all they had...there is a southern states about 45 mins away... but nothing else.. will it help if i at least start her on the wazine17?
Call the place back and ask them if they have Safeguard horse paste wormer (any liquid or paste where the active ingredient is fenbendazole will work), it's a paste and can be used instead of the liquid. Dose is 0.23ml per pound for 5 days. I would *not* use Wazine on a sick bird.

If she is not drinking, she needs to be tube fed fluids, then fluids and food or she will die. Read this:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/805728/go-team-tube-feeding

Then get a tube or 16" of aquarium air line and a 35 ml or 60 ml syringe and I will teach you how either here or on the phone. She needs 15ml per pound of Gatorade or Pedialyte now, then again in 60-90 minutes, then the same every 6 hours. Once properly hydrated, you will need to tube fluid and baby bird food.

Good morning Kathy! So glad you dropped by, Thank you for letting me know about not using Wazine on sick birds. I don't use Wazine at all, so am not up to date on it's use. I think Wazine is not a good investment.
Good morning! That's what I remember reading someplace, maybe in one of my books, maybe off a bottle of Wazine.

FWIW, I would hydrate this bird before giving any meds to it.
