YEPPERS! ABOUT 1/2 WAY BETWEEN TAMPA AND OCALA OFF OF THE I-75 CORRIDOR. DEEP IN HEART OF NATIONAL FOREST AND WILD LIFE MANAGEMENT COUNTRY---- THE HILLS OF FLORIDA! (YES WE HAVE HILLS--- ALBEIT SMALL AND UNIMPRESSIVE I'LL TAKE WHAT I CAN GET!)

LOL, I don't believe there are any hills in FL but then I used to live in a little place called Wildwood there and the boy next door had a pet bobcat and he also brought us the biggest rattlesnake I have ever seen in a bucket so who says there is not "country" in FL, lol.

Anyway.. my quail are still laying like crazy, I throw the eggs to the cats, I am rather sick of my quail. Seramas are laying, welsummers are laying good and some of the EE's. Mottled cochin lay great but there is no roo for them.

I have never seen anyone quit a hobby quite so thoroughly as monarch did.

You could stuff them in a box an send them up here! Monach quit? That's too bad. My husband lived in Rocklege next to cocoa beach, we lived in Tampa for almost a year. I couldn't get used to the heat, bugs, crime, noise...we went back home to the west coast where I'm from. Now that we've settled down a bit here in Idaho I want to raise quails..and lots o chickens!
