I knew I would be standing in line for your eggs if I waited to late.

I'm
trying to work in a trip to VA. to see some old friends before my local family head south for turkey season, because they will be takeing care of my birds for me. I don't want anything in a bator or brooder box for them to have to take care of.

Not sure if the weather is going to accommodate. We are expecting another few inches of snow here tomorrow. There will probably not be one drop of milk, slice of bread, or roll of toilet paper within 100 miles of Atlanta.

My next quail go in the hatcher on thursday. These are supposed to be from 11-12 ounce parents. My first hatch is now 6 weeks and my second hatch is 3 weeks. I'm trying to make up my mind to butcher all of these first two batches and save my space for the jumbos. I guess I should weigh the ones I've got now and see how they compare. I might have big ones and not know it. There not big when all you've ever had are chickens!

They Can't Wack Us All!

Hopefully, It's One Egg Of Many Jen.

This Darn Caps Lock Thing. How Do You Turn The Darn Thing Off? I Know There Is A Button Somewhere.

Apparently, they have engaged the anticaps lock technology acquired from the Romulan's. I guess I should just hold down the shift button from now on.

It's the only way to SHOUT around HERE!
