Well, Amazon had the Nikon d60 with the 18-55 lens on sale for $542. and DH had a coupon for $25. off ...so....I did it!

Now I hope it what I expect it to be. I am saving money again for the telephoto lens. Thanks for all of your suggestions. I kept a list of them and compared them. Okay, so noise is what I have been calling 'too sharpness'.

I'm considering getting a nikon d60. What would be the best lens to go with it? Does anyone know of a place to find them at a good price?
