We purchased Silver Laced Wyandotte chicks on hatch day - sexed as females. One died within a few days, and this one is growing and healthy. This bird, that we named "Sylvia", is 10 weeks old. My daughter is worried that this chicken is a boy and not a girl. Can someone confirm Female or male? Thx!
Here she is amongst the rest of the chickens - all 10 weeks old - a few boys mixed in. She is the only SLW (and is sitting next to the very light colored EE). So the SLW has a somewhat redder comb than the other females, but she is the only SLW, so no other one to compare to.
