started getting my first eggs at 18 weeks now 2 weeks later the eggs are still the same size small feeding the layer crumbles maybe go to a layer pellet just dont know(5 eggs to make a sandwich) please help

The size of the egg will get bigger over time. What size are the birds? Little birds lay little eggs, by the way. My bantam cochins laye ggs only half the size of my standard sized Easter Egger's and Marans.

It will take some time for eggs to reach a more normal size. I have a RIR, started laying approx. 2 months ago. They are still not a large egg on most days. On other days they are bullet shaped and huge.

It's interesting to see what the size and shape are on any given day. Laying eggs, is an amazing thing...give her some time. They will get bigger!

I use my kitchen scale on my eggs. My leghorn hybrid has been laying for two weeks. To the naked eye the eggs look all the same pullet size, between pee wee and small. I weigh each egg out of curiousity because I am still excited to bring an egg in the house. They are getting a tiny bit bigger as the days go on. They started at 1.3 oz and are now 1.5 oz. I figure at this rate it will take a couple of months to get to a large size egg with her.
