small eggs

I am new to all of this. One of my golden comets started laying this week but the eggs are tiny. Is this normal? I love these chicks.

Completely normal, they will get bigger. Congrats!

I have golden comets and the first 13 eggs from 2 girls were between 42 and 48 grams. This morning I got my first medium size, at 50 grams. This photo is from 2 days ago.GC

Can take anywhere from a week or so to months for pullet eggs to get bigger.
I sell 'pullet dozens'......can take up to 18 eggs to make up 27oz XLarge dozen.

I got my first egg today that is over 50grams, 53 grams. Yippy. GC.
