We have 3 geese: 2 French Toulouse and 1 Toulouse. They have been laying for almost 4 weeks and some eggs are larger than others but all have been larger than duck eggs. Tonight one of the geese laid an egg slightly smaller than a duck egg. Has anybody ever experienced an occasional much smaller egg from their geese or perhaps our smaller goose is finally starting to lay. Wondering....The French Tououse lays 35-50 eggs per year and the Toulouse lays 25-30 per year. Could that mean that the Toulouse laying season begins later than the French Toulouse so she's just getting started? Or, perhaps it's a "fart" egg or some other aberration?
