Hi,

I'm trying to find a small hanging feeder for my garden ark. I only have 3 Bantam faverolles so I don't need it to hold 12 pounds of food at a time, for example. It seems poultry supply dealers only sell large ones, but maybe I'm looking at the wrong sites. Any ideas? Thanks.

Size it to fit your needs. A plastic bucket, holes to fit their heads (I don't have bantams so cannot help with that), and hang it so the holes are the height of their back.

I use one of those large pretzel containers you can buy at Sam's Club. I attached it to a metal pie pan and made a wire handle for it. Just cut 3 or 4 round holes at the base of the container and this makes a cheap and easily filled small hanging feeder. Just the right sized tray for my chicks...very little wasted feed, has a lid.
