The San Diego river used to flow as a creek... But not any more There are water marks on the canyon it flowed through fifty feet up on the canyon walls. No more... Between dams up stream and the drought.

Coloraodo river used to be navigable by Stern wheelers up to Yuma Now It doesnt reach the ocean any more.... Falls short by about thirty feet....

Is there a pile of dirt next to those holes? We had a tiny mouse in our chicken coop last week. Same holes against the wall in the dirt ground like yours.
I stuck rocks into the holes and covered them with shingles.
