I just traveled 2 and a half hours round trip to get a female sebbie. She is tiny. I thought maybe she was a teenager but the lady told me she was about three years old. I have never seen one this small before. Do any of you sebbie owners have a small female or seen one before? I will post a picture of her tomorrow since we got home after dark and I didn't want to scare her.

She doesn't seem as small as I thought just in a molt, what do you all think?

Please post a picture. I have one right now that this is on the petite size . They sure are cute though . Reminds me of a little Shihtzu.

I have three sebastopol geese and one of mine is considerably smaller than the other two. She is my favorite. I really don't know of too many people who have small ones. Need to start breeding miniature sebbies

I would love to start a breeding flock...

How is this for a response. Why did you accept the small goose if you thought it was smaller than it should be? If you have buyer's remorse what do you expect from us? it is one thing to have birds shipped to you, quite another when you see them before paying.

Do you know of Sugar Lily Webs?
I think shes only around 6 lbs.
I've had a couple dainty females.
I bet she's a cutie.

Where's those pics?

Edited to add: Look at it this way,
a molting Seb can look like a wet Persian Cat.
The standard for a young goose is 10 lbs.
and an old goose is 12 lbs. to give you an idea.
