LJ I swear it's true. I've been the very thankful recipient of aid from the fellas like Spook who's day is made when they get to help a broken down motorist... and all the thanks they want (or will take, even if you're pushy) is a smile and a Thankee.

Do you not have 'those guys' up where you're at? Actually... thinking back to the stories you've told... donno that I'd want some of your areas good ol' boys thinking I'm a damsel in distress... yikes!

Squishy... heheh... those would be the ALMOST Famous Last Words.

Yes, PM, remember the stories.... we don't want that kind of help! I would happily walk 5 miles first. No, people up here do give you a jump, but it's not the primary reason we carry them I don't think. Just part of the "in case I break down" gear we keep in the back. Cables - check. Can of Fix O Flat - check. Half inch wrench - check. Wood/cardboard/rug in case we get stuck in snow - check. Flashlight if we have to walk - check. Blanket and beer in case it's too cold or far to walk - check.

I think the list is quite funny, (my family moved to the south over 30 years ago).
While I am an educated individual, I can certainly relate to the items on that list.
Thanks Sugar for giving me a good laugh to start my day.
Ranchhand - Southerners are considered stupid and poorly educated only by ignorant and close-minded people. Surely those with any intelligence realize there’s an idiot in almost every family, and in every town, worldwide, lol. I’m quite certain there is a similar list for northerners.
Perry refers to a southern town. There is a Perry, GA and a Perry, FL, (and there are about 16 other states that have towns called Perry, most of which have a population below 5,000).

Enjoyed the Fairytale too Squishy.
Be Blessed Y'all
