My two equally favorite smells are puppy breath (because it lasts such a short time and then you have liver or some other nasty breath) and FRESHLY GROUND COFFEE, especially the first pot of the morning when my husband makes it and brings me a cup in bed.
My most enduring beloved smell is my husbands' neck and I also love the way my chin fits perfectly into the little hollow of his collarbone......sigh!
And, you know, all three of my favorite smells are reminiscent of each other.....
I enjoyed horse manure as a few days old, got a sweet smell to it.
Hubby's manly smell. Not the hog sweat but the nice smell of himself.
Old Spice men's cologne
Kitten's breath
Lavender
Gasoline fumes
those old circular copy machine that prints out blue or purple prints but it gives off that wonderful odor on the paper, popular in the 70's. I remember getting very excited and once I got my paper in my hands, I would just snifffffffffffffffffffffffffff it deeply!
smell of leather oil
Snow Owl or White Owl cigar smoke
burnt oak boards (to season oak wine barrels)
horse muzzle smell and sweat
my own underarm BO ( dont laugh but something dif. weird about it!)
there's a certain smell I remember when I got my new fatigues in the army, we went to the warehouse and the whole building smelled like it.Every once in a while an article of new clothing will smell like that and I love it.
