The smokey mutation has been confined to lab research only. Unless by chance you come by spontaneous mutation(not unheard of, for example the silkie feather mutations seems to have appeared spontaneously a few times already). You will not come up with something similar.Interesting, nicalandia.

If you are looking for new color to work with perhaps you will take the lead and work with both Dun and Chocolate on the same bird. I would have seem that homozygous Dun(I^D/I^D) and recessive chocolate(choc) can combined and produce a Beige like colorGood to know. Thank you.
