thanks for all the advice on my OEGB eggs

Okay come Sunday I am setting eggs in my new incubator (its been running for a couple of weeks now). I will be putting in: LF bbs Orps, EEs and BCM under EE roo.

This is my first ever attempt at hatching eggs so please keep your fingers crossed for me.

If all goes well they should hatch on or about Easter Sunday.

good luck ! I just got home from school and look in the bator and 2 have cracks n them 1 i can see yellow fluff !

i need info this is a recently hatched rir chick and he/she has something dragging behind her the other OEGB that hatched has nothing like this and theres fluid all over the bator is this normal ?

I sorry but I really don't know. I want to think its normal but I think it would be better to ask somewhere else. I have joined the Easter Hatch on here and I think they would be able to help. Chicks arrived last week, on TUESDAY ugh. All made it but 4, two were on the way out when I got the box open and lost two more within 24 hours because they refused to start eating. I tried as hard as I could to get them to---but nothing doing.

So I have 23 healthy Naked Neck pullets all colors! Seems I have quite a few with barring---I am interested to see what they turn into. I've only ever had reds and Barred Rock crosses (and a few silkie crosses)

btw the little dark one in the front looks like he/she is wearing a fuzzy cap, too cute
