Just wondering how many people here could get a snake out of their coop like this woman did? this one isn't poisonous. I have no fear of them and have been bitten several times by poisonous snakes.

As a matter of fact, yes, my wife is more than willing to grab one. Proof attached.... She is fearless! This is only one of the few she has brought in. It was a harmless king snake, but he was about 6' in lenght wrap around he arm and stick.

Does "running around screaming and flailing arms" count as "handling the situation?"
After I calmed down, I'd be looking for a hoe to reach it, snag it, and then release it over the back fence.

I'd have no problem removing any snake from the coop. I love snakes! I know the only venomous snake in the area is the endangered Massasauga rattler, so even if there was one, I'd not kill it and instead happy report to the DNR that I spotted one! Snakes are friends, they consume vermin and other pests.
