Yes, the red eastern milk snake looks familiar. The other snake near the patio and in the woods look like the ones in the bucket in the post above. I would not mind seeing another red snake.

hahahaNope, no venom, but they are very defensive and will strike repeatedly until they get familiar with being held and some people think they're rattlesnakes because they shake their tails. It can sound like a rattle in dry leaves but it's just mimicry.
