Snakes!

Lovely snake! If ever I see a snake on the road I slam on the brakes, jump out and catch it (don't want them to get run over). Depending on the area, I either release it in a safe place or bring it back to my house. As a result we have some very nice snakes here and they really do help to cut down on the rodent population.
You wouldn't do that here in South Texas, because it would probably be a rattle snake. We slam on the brakes alright, right on top of'em.

I was weed whacking a few yrs back and it started making a weird noise whump whump whump. I lifted it to look and I had somehow gotten a snake stuck up in there and every time it would go around whump So I gave it full gas and that day a snake learned to fly

@granny hatchet, well I've heard of flying fish, but this is the first flying snake. I'm thinking that you and @007Sean deep down inside want a snake as a pet. Please post your birthdays so we can gift the two of you. :hugs
Nope, nope . only good snake is a dead one. My GM got hit 2xs by a copperhead in KY and she poured some of her "medicine" on it then drank some . By the time they made it to the hospital a few hrs away they told her she was fine. Nothing needed to be done. LOL

she also told me they smell like cucumbers . Maybe why some cats freak out when they see one ? So if your in an area and smell cukes and you aint growing any Dont stick your hand in the dirt. RUN !

We caught one that shook its tail in imitation of a rattle snake... Kind of freaked us out for a moment of two, but everything about it was gopher snake.
Funny how they do that!
