Hi all. I have two out of 6 chickens with bubbly eyes, sneezing, coughing, wheezing, and runny nose. They started showing symptoms about 5 weeks ago. We do not have any vets that treat chickens anywhere near us but our vet did give us some amoxicillin to try. It has not worked, we did two three day treatments two weeks apart. They did seem to get a little better but are now worse. I’ve read to get tylan but I can’t find it without a prescription or for poultry. I need direct information on where to buy it (our feed store doesn’t have it) and how much to give them. Please help 😭

Have you added any new birds recently? That sounds like mycoplasma gallisepticum or MG, a chronic resporatory disease that causes conjunctivitis and sinus infection. It is never cured, although symptoms may go away, and most of your flock will be carriers. Amoxicillin does not treat MG. Your vet could have prescribed tylosin, doxycycline or a couple of others to help treat it. Tylosin can be obtained here without a prescription:

Dosage is 1 tsp per gallon of water for 3-5 days.

I got two new birds about 2 weeks or so before they got sick. If I put this in the water is it okay for everyone to have it?

I found tylan 200 injectable… can I give this orally? And if so how much?
