Hello everyone,

I am not a frequent user of the forum but I encountered a problem with one of my hens this morning... My sussex bantam Roxy, 8 months old was much quiether than her usual vocal self and she seemed paler than usual. She was very fluffed up around the face and was makign croaking noises, I then heard a big sneeze. she does not have a runny nose and is still active moving around in her run. She has had a time of it lately as she was chased by a fox but survived unscathed, took her about a week to get over shock but this was two months ago now and now she has another hen in her coop, could this be it?

Doe she have a cold? Any advice on how I can make her better??

I did get another hen last weekend, who is healthy eating and drinkign well and active. I gave both of the girls a good clean out at the weekend and they have hay and shavings in their coop/nesting box could it be this? If so I would expect both of them to be affected?

Any advice anyone has would be much appreciated, thanks for reading!

Laura
