snobby chick?

My chicks are about 4 weeks old, buff orpingtons. I've had them for only a week. Normally they all are always in a cluster to sleep and eat and whatever. Yesterday, we moved them to a bigger pen, and since then i've noticed one of the chicks separating herself from the others.

Should i be concerned? Is this normal? Is she just a snob?

It sounds to me like she is just enjoying having more room and is exploring her new home.

She may also be the alpha hen/highest in the pecking order. Our little alpha hen spends most of her time by herself (when she's not busy keeping the rest of the gang in line).
