So glad to hear that Daphne is doing well!
She has stopped laying for the season? (Which i assume is very good for ducks!)
I bet in the end there was more duck in that tray than water?
All five of my ducks squeezed into a 40" bowl this morning after i filled it with luke-warm water. They were stepping on each other, pushing and in the end they got out, wet to their skins, then running around in circles, flapping their wings to dry up. I left my phone inside, that would have been a great video!
Currently its the great warmup here, all the snow is gone and the mud has returned. But next Wednesday night it will be cold enough for their water to freeze over again. And i will be prepared!Daphne still lays on occasion, maybe once or twice per week. Sometimes her eggs are normal, sometimes not. However, she’s remained bright throughout. No recent lethargy or endless straining! I don’t care what she lays or does not lay as long as she is happy
It sounds like your crew had a blast in their winter pool! It’s amazing how enthusiastic they can be for a swim, even when the weather is downright terrible! Maybe you can get a video next time.
Yippie!!It actually turns out that everyone’s a girl!
