Snow on cars--A rant

I guess y'all better stay out of Ohio, cuz no one cleans the snow off their cars. I've been driving 25 yrs and I can honestly say that this has never been an issue. Never even heard of an accident caused by snow flying off cars, until today.

Along the East coast lots of accidents and some fatalities especially along the major routes when that crap comes off at 70 miles an hour.

It's illegal here in PA to have snow on your roof. I clean mine fairly well - it IS hard to get it all off the top of an SUV.

I do think the biggest issue is people following too closely. And you just never know if the guy in front of you forgot to get his mega-stainless steel coffee cup off the top either.

I honestly do not think that some of these people have ever REALLY seen how far a chunk of ice can fly off a car going 60-70MPH..
And you are right..it DOES also fly into other lanes...
It doesnt just fall of and hit the road..it FLYS off...and it can fly FAR..
Honestly, i dont think most people even have a clue how dangerous it really is, unless they have seen it really fly off a vehicle on a fast moving highway..

Either way.. anyone can do what they choose. Its their choice..
Just hope you dont end up killing someone someday and have to live with that the rest of your life.
As for myself, i'll take the snow off of my cars.
