Snowed Inn - Breakfast by woodstove

Ducks and geese are seasonal layers. They do not lay like chickens and even chickens do not lay all year long. Some runners will lay about 280 eggs a year and even then they do take a break out of the 365.

Here is a link where several of showed our wood stoves.

When we first moved here to Cave Junction, we lived off the grid through the winter. We had no electricity of running water...I had to get our water from a spring. I cooked all of our meals on a woodstove....loved it. I love my cast iron.

Edited to add: callducks my Harlequins and Anconas have stopped laying.

Glad you are safe and snug, MP. I saw on ABC that hundreds are stranded on VA roads. You may have travelers knocking on your door if word gets out you are cooking! You have a neat stove. We wouldn't take anything for our "Earth Stove." I love cast iron too.
