Hallo all. So, has anyone read a good book recently? Share it! But do t post spoilers without a warning.

For me it's "The Hope Jar" by Wande Brunstetter. I loved this book so much

SPOILER:
If you were Mr or Mrs Lapp, would you have forgiven Michelle? Why or why not?

I have been reading "Boone: A Biography" by Robert Morgan. I enjoy reading biographies, especially colonial era. Very well written, I must say. Very informative and interesting and doesn't read too much like a text book. Mostly about Daniel Boone, but does go into side histories of certain tribes, colonies, natural areas, etc.

I just finished the first book in the heartland series by Lauren Brooke. I liked it ok. It's a good book for middle schoolers.

For whatever reason I've been reading Willa Cather's works. Read My Antonia first and thought it was one of the most beautiful books I'd ever read (which is saying something, since I read a great deal). Loved O Pioneers!, too, another beautiful story; Lucy Gayheart is a wonderfully written novel, but ***possible spoiler!*** it kind of broke my heart.

Midwestern writers don't pull punches, or at least they didn't when Cather was writing. Just began Death Comes For The Archbishop today.
