So creeped out, sitting here alone...get in here if you're still up!

Hahahaha

'round here it's more likely to be said its chupacabra, although some skunks and big javelina strolled by a few days ago.

Only wish they wore cologne, lol.

Thanks so very much for you all that came in keeping me company through a kinda scary night alone.

My son just called and is about to head over from across town a little early to help me with some livestock before it gets too hot, so he'll be here soon. You were great company that helped ease my concerns.

Thank you, again, soooo much!

Wow....that creeped me out a little just reading it. I've read about the Chupacabra after it was on the news, but nothing about cologne, LOL.

That was my first thought too SpeckledHen...especially after the rain storm. Doesnt explain the cage doors in the barn though. I would be putting up a couple of motion sensor lights or game cameras.

Wow! I'd be freaking out! The reason why I got 2 big dogs is to protect me when no one is home. My dogs actually protect our house a little too well.

. No one would dare enter our yard after dark.

What you guys said about the perfume sorta reminds me of how it can be with orange blossums and gardenias. But this is distinctly cologne...men's cologne...like a very expensive one...and it'd odd that it's so strong that it smells like a bottle full was broken, yet still smells wonderful...if it just showing up so strong out of the blue wasn't so creepy. I've been here my whole life and can say without a doubt that it's not connected to odors after a rain storm.....and the 1st night it happened there was no rain (and it was odd enough that it literally spooked the color out of a tough, full grown50+ year old man).

I just can't figure out why so many odd things happen around here.

We did have lights but we put up more lights quite a while back, and there has always been a light on in the barn at night...which has been discovered turned off (manually) inside a locked barn, and just a couple of weeks ago the water line inside the barn was discovered shut off (manually). The list of odd things is long and over many years, but never had the odor of cologne or the feeling that someONE was standing right there wearing it, lol.

I wish I had a big dog here full time. My cat, that was sleeping at my feet last night when I was on the computer, took off like a streak outta here when the odor came in. I followed suit immediately when it sank in.
