I agree that the 3 who aren't Puffy are pullets. Puffy could go either way.

Is Puffy's behavior more outgoing- friendly toward you than the rest? that could be a sign as well of impending roosterity

That feather dappling on your first pullet is just gorgeous!

Wow they are beautiful! I would love some EE's in those colors! They look like girls to me, but I am not very familiar with EE's.

My neighbor got 11 EE pullets and one EE roo from Cackle this spring and he got a lot of blue too! Most of them have some blue on them, and all of them are gorgeous! Eight of them lay real nice dark blue and green eggs, and the rest lay some nice brown eggs. They're very good layers too! I'm looking forward to hatching some eggs from them next spring!

Going off the birds and not knowing anything about how this or that color equals male or female, I'd say you have four beautiful pullets!

Thanks... I think I lucked out on some really pretty birds, too! I love, love the blue.

As far as behavior, they're all about the same really. Of all eight birds, the EE's are the least openly friendly-- they're WAY out done by the dominiques who are very in your pocket. "Puffy" was perhaps the most shy initially, but not terribly so. My kids were just so tickled by it's "puffiness" as a bitty chick, that Puffy it is!

The ONLY one in the group with a name...

I couldn't get any great pics of Puffy on the ground, so that's why I picked him/her up and tried.

These aren't the best... but a few more:
