Only 1 of my May-hatched pullets has started laying so far... and I was planning to get a few more chicks in March so they would start laying BEFORE next winter. Now you say 11 months is a thing? Oh that is not good!!! Well, congrats on your exceedingly long-awaited egg!

I guess Barnevelders are late layers from what I’ve read. The good thing is she will lay eggs all winter and nice, large eggs!
