Hee hee! I have a friend who's mom has goats. She has over 100 and her husband said NO more that was it. But, she bought a billy that is just outstanding and Sara pointed to him and said, "where . . . ." and her mom shushed her and said you dad hasn't counted him yet. Ha!

Oooh, my husband would kill me if I kept bringing home ducks. The upside is that if I only keep a few ducks and 1 chicken, then I can talk him into letting me have other animals, like my new house rabbit.

This is great! DH dosen't even ask anymore. As long as they are "my" thing and he does not have to get involved, no problem. I just sold 7 birds and had to put down one (resp inf.

) Then a lady I sold birds to last fall called me and said that one of them is really being picked on and if I could take her back. She dropped her off last night. The poor baby has a hole behind her comb a little smaller than a dime. It's awful. How could I not take her? She is in with my other birds and seems to be fine. So far, they haven't been a bullying group. Sweet little Australorp I think.

Oh, do we have to count the 32 straight run chicks in the house? Some will be Roos and I can't keep those so they can't go on the tally till we know sex.

Oh, what about the 6 eggs under the broody. Some may not hatch.

Oh, Agway gets Guineas at the end of March. They aren't chickens.
